Pom-Poms for Polka Dot Party

I'm about to start making these pom-poms for Miss A's sixth birthday party on Sunday. I thought they'd look good with the polka-dot bunting I've made and these lanterns. Add in loads of balloons, some gluten -free party food and fourteen little girls and you can imagine what a fun-filled Sunday afternnon we will be having.

Scrap Bag Swap...something useful

I got really tired of plastic bags multiplying and taking over my kitchen drawers so I made this this afternoon with scraps from the wonderful Scrap Bag Swap...useful and gorgeous and another drawer cleared to fill up with stuff!!

So Foxy!!

This tee has been really popular at popular in fact that I didn't have any photos of the original run. Finally I printed some more. I like them- hope you do too!!
They are, of course, available in my felt shop.

My Felt Shop

I've just added a foxy tee to my felt shop...yes, I'm starting to get sorted!!

Scrap Bag Swap..Finally

After a hectic term one I've finally got around to using up some of the scraps I received from The Wardrobe's Scrap Bag Swap.

Thsi weekend we have a Polka Dot Party happening for Miss A so I made some bunting to reflect the theme-a mixture of scraps and some I was given. Considering it was a bit of a ruch job, I was quite pleased with how it turned out.
I have made another couple of things which I'll post about soon...just need to put the finishing touches to them.

The Next Fat Quarter Idol

This post could/should also be named : Why I am so Good at Procrastinating!!
I have a lot on at the moment so today I manage to clean the girls room and get rid of loads of things, clean out the bathroom and rearrange the living room none of which are on mty to do list.

I also decided that I should enter this competition on the "Sew Mamam Sew" Blog:

which has been quite a bit of fun choosing twelve fabrics to go with the theme: Sweet Child of Mine

I'm not totally sure how sweet my selection is but I was initially inspired by this "cracker" of a fabric

You can see my board on Pinterest here:

Why don't you have a go at making your own selection-Believe me it is highly addictive!
